Lancia Beta Spyder 2000 - Dorset
« on: December 30, 2021, 12:13:15 PM »
Hi everyone,

I’d just like to quickly introduce myself. I’m Dan and from Christchurch, Dorset. I’ve recently completed restoring my Lancia Beta Spyder and posted some info on this in the members cars section.

I’m looking forward to taking the car to future events and hopefully getting to see some of the other members cars here. Also, if there are any members who are local it would be great to meet some time.

Thanks
Dan

Welcome Dan!
We have had What's App communication when you advertised parts on eBay.
The finished car looks fantastic.

Hi Dan,

Your Spider looks absolutely lovely. Welcome and thanks for the very detailed photos - some of them showed me how the alternator was mounted, which I had temporarily forgotten. So not just a great time lapse work log of progress, but very informative as well...  ;D

Hi Dan, welcome. You’ve done a fantastic restoration. I think I spotted you on Alder Road last year. I’m in Poole and hope to be about in my coupe this year, it’s not been used at all in the last 5 years. So I’ll get some new tyres in the Spring and maybe meet up in some local shows etc.

Welcome Dan  :)

Looks absolutely gorgeous you've done a great job, i'm not too far away in Wiltshire. Hoping to get mine on the road soon, so might see you at a few events in the future  ;)

Hi Dan, great job on the Spyder and it’s great that it has stayed in the family.  I have a Spyder too (1980, 2 ltr) and am based in Exeter, Devon so not too far away.
