Hi, I was taking my old dog for a slow walk down my street earlier and it struck me...
Its a long street of mostly semi's all quite nice a mix of 1930/1950's houses. When we moved in 2009 there were quite a few older people and less young families. There was a garage for each house and a drive for c2 cars. More recently the garages are being converted to another room.
Not ours, its full of bikes currently and soon to be a Lancia Beta.
What struck me is when we moved in there were a lot of classics in garages in the street. There was (that I noticed on dog walks when garage doors were open), 3x TR5/6's and Stag, a Spitfire, an old Land Rover and an old P6 Rover. Its the same for old VW vans (I also have a t5.1 Caravelle so I notice these things). There used to be a T4, a T5 and two T5.1's. Now just my T5.1. Classics wise, its just the RR now.
Old vans I get as we are on the edge of Gt London ULEZ, but the classic cars...
