Lancia beta Spyder 2.0 fuel.linea
« on: May 11, 2025, 10:04:09 PM »
Hi All,
I seem to have blocked fuel lines from tank . The car runs ok.when I use petrol into carb from jerry can but nothing coming through from fuel tank.
I want to blow out the hard lines but cannot see where I can disconnect and to gain access to tank side end of pipes
. As far as I can tell there is a a connection at tank but just wanted to find out if there are any other joints I can access to check for blockages. Thanks in advance
Simon

There should be a large plastic bung in the center of the boot floor. Remove it and you can see the sender with the send and return pipes attached. You could remove these here and try blowing through both with an air line. These are short rubber pipes that join the steel pipes through to the engine bay behind the tank.

All three sets of pipes could be blocked; tank to steel pipes, steel pipes that run under the body and the pipes in the engine bay. You should have some sort of filter along the way too, in the engine bay if you have the mechanical pump.

Thank you so much for the info !
I have a fuel filter fitted at carb but was lost trying to find how to disconnect pipes from underneath.
