Title: Beta Coupe Bonnet Required

Due to some thieving gits I am now looking for another Beta Coupe Bonnet, can anyone help?

Anything reasonable rust free (will be repainted so no issues on finish) or a GRP would be good…

Sorry no bonnet here and you need to mention which bonnet you need, early S1/S2, later S2 FL or VX?

Also intrigued, did they steal just your bonnet?

I'm collecting a Coupe on Thursday for dismantling - I will check the condition of the bonnet for you.

Its a '79 series 2 (well some of it is), but a VX bonnet would still be fine as it would give me more luggage space! ;)

Ideally looking for a GRP in the long term, anything to shed weight.

The bonnet stolen, together with some other spare panels, was to be a replacement for my existing rusty one (they didn't nick it off the car, lol).

I think Mark Wastnidge was looking into GRP bonnets... I think there was a thread asking if there was any interest but I don't recall what the outcome of that was.

I'll let you know Thursday evening..

Shame that the UK has reached the point where if it's not nailed down someone will steal it.

There was no interest at the time and I haven't progressed with this since, i'd have to check through my emails to remember what company I was in discussion with if anyone wanted to take this on/further.

I have collected the Series 3 Coupe now but unfortunately the bonnet and boot lid have rust issues.

The rest of the panels are in great shape... but when you get to the sills it gets very ugly.
