I'm in the process of importing a 1980 HPE 2000 (lhd) from Netherlands - quite a nice one actually with power steering and everything joining my '81 1600 HPE.
The problem is I am right now filling out the DVLA form V55/5 - and it requires a lot of information from a "certificate of conformity"
Just wondering if anyone knows where i can get this from? It's got a UK MOT now and insurance - so it's so close to finally having a UK reg....
Any help very much appreciated.
Alex.

Hi Alex
I think if the cars over 10 yrs old the MOT certificate is enough. Have you got a DVLA office anywhere near you could pop into.?

Not conveniently but I suppose i will have to.
Problem is there is quite a lot of information required that it recommends pulling from the COC - variant, version, type approval, power, length etc...

If you're unsure about anything, contact Fiat UK,
I expect they can help.

We will try calling them now.
Thanks!

Ask to speak to Tim Speachley at Fiat UK and he will be able to supply the COC.
He did both my integrales that Imported a few years ago.

OK will try and get through to him.

Thanks for all your help.
The guy at Fiat kindly wrote me out a confirmation of build date. We now have NOY 326V road legal, taxed and imported!
Thanks again
Alex
