Just had my HPE VX Mot yesterday for the first time in 5 years.

Only had a couple of advisories on a slight exhaust leak at the manifold to downpipe and emissions slightly off.

When I was 2 miles from the garage, the gasket must have let go as it now sounds like a Lancaster bomber :D.

Now for the timing belt and new gasket then it's going on the road.

Really enjoyed driving it.

Can anyone tell me if the VX cambelt is the same as the 2000ie?

148 teeth x 19mm seems to ring a bell from the last time.

Yes the same and the supercharger belt is the same as certain fiat diesels cam belt

Yes but I need to double check so I don't tell you the wrong way around, the supercharger tensioner comes from a fiat too but different engine size and I don't remember which is which
