Hi,i removed engine and subframe by lowering it but i need to lift the engine away from the subframe. I cannot find anywhere to lift the engine
Thanks Shaun

The bracket that attaches the engine steady bar to the flywheel end of the head is a good one - that's not going anywhere. At the timing belt end I use the very end bolts on the cam housings with a bit of chain linked to all 4

Great HFStuart, thanks very much

There are lifting hoops fitted on the engine to lift it

In the past I've just tied heavy duty rope around and through the inlet and exhaust manifolds and hooked the lifting eye through a hefty carabiner clipped onto the ropes in the V between the cam covers. The engine needs to come out with the gearbox hanging low in order to negotiate the NS wing, and this approach automatically ensures that.

Thanks guys for all the help
