Title: Practical Classics
Post by: HFStuart on March 13, 2021, 03:04:29 PM
Possibly the worst researched article ever in PC this month.

It's the Aussie coupe Clive imported and restored. At least 4 references to the V4 engine.

Yup, I've just put down the P.C article, and being someone who is easily befuddled, and a newbie to Beta ownership, the multitude of 'V4' references really threw me! Apart from the glaring, embarrassing error, a fantastic article with great pics. Couldn't get home from W.H Smith's fast enough! Jono.

Yes, great pictures, poor article. The car was briefly advertised for sale, £19995 IIRC?

I think he sold it for more like £13k. Perhaps not quite the enthusiast he suggests. Also the comment about them rusting from the inside out was something I told him - but I was talking about Spiders!
