Well, the shocks are in, but noticed when doing that job that the tie rods are destroyed. Anyone know where I can find replacements? Did not realize they would also be tough to source. Mine are the "unthreaded" kind that screw onto the track rod, I believe...

Hi
Assuming the standard ZF power steering rack, Mark has them in stock.

They are slightly odd sizing and not commonly available when I tried to source them.

Thanks! Mark's site wasn't loading for me here in California, but today it's back. Maybe someone kinked the fiber cables across the Atlantic?
Anyway, coming from owning a few Fiat 124s, I didn't realize sourcing parts for the Beta would be such a challenge! Appreciate it.

Has anyone ever experienced this? I grabbed the tie rods off the (ZF) zagato yesterday, and the driver's side seems to be a larger threaded section than the passenger side.
Maybe this was from some earlier repair job? Not sure if this is normal or the best way forward. Any help/thoughts appreciated!

You might have 1 steering arm from a non PAS rack and 1 correct one for PAS which are more substantial with bigger track rod ends. 16mm fine pitch from memory. I think non PAS Racks are 14mm fine pitch.
I might have uploaded PAS rack pictures in my members vehicle area. Note I converted my UK Beta Spyder to PAS from a VX Coupe.

Thanks for the reply. I just looked up the part # printed on the 'bigger' track rod end, and it's actually coming up as a Porsche part... Weird. Someone must have gotten creative at some point in this car's life... Thanks for the response.

Hi
Just to confirm they should both be the same and yes suspect the Porsche one was due to not being able to find a correct one due to being hard to find…..
