Afternoon,
I dont even have my car yet (its still at port in Cape Town)
This came up on eBay and I bought it as I had one on my HPE BitD. Did they do one for Coupe's, anyone know how to check? I guess I get underneath and offer it up/take the old one off and see ::)

Serial numbers etc

Hi
So how does a twin tail fit in place of where a single pipe originally fits? Do you have to mod the rear valance?

Looking at my HPE from the early 90’s, i think not.
Once i get my car, and get it in the air i will offer it up. I might send a mail to ANSA and see if they have any instructions.

Hi
Ok, on the HPE the cutout in the valance is much less pronounced than in my Spider and so does not look out of place.

That's exactly the system I had on my HPE back in the day. Full Ansa from front to back and, if memory is correct, it was a bugger to fit as it did away with the cast iron manifold.... Sounded good, a little more expensive than a standard one but it outlived the car. Or at least it was still on the car when it went..
I'm still thinking about the system for the Coupe. Probably going with a single straight tailpipe.....

My HPE came with it and I cant remember if it was a full system or not. I had always assumed it was just a tail section but could be wrong. I will offer it up and see if it could work, be modified. Lets face it my SA car is not going to have the original unit installed is it? :-)

It might be a while before I get this tailpipe fitted as the whole system is non-standard and has one small box in the front section and another across in the middle just like std, but no back box. I would like the Ansa back box fitted one day. No rush
