Not the most exciting subject, but I know I have a fair few that I need to install in the HPE and that I do not have them all. Steve in Oz (Jasper_40) kindly sent me a file with a 50mm grommet which he used on his wing liner. My liner has 60mm ones and looks to be of a thicker plastic (3mm). So after a little playing with it and using TPU filament I am happy with the result (left in the photo). I am also sorting out the mounting of the new aluminium fuel tank. Because it is aluminium, I did not want to bolt it directly to the chassis like the original, so am going for suspending it using straps and the bush on the right in the photo isolates the mounting bracket from the stud attached to the chassis. Again very pleased with the result especially as this is printed in the coarsest print size, 0.28mm, again in TPU which is nicely pliable.
This means I can reproduce pretty much any grommet I have not got including odd shaped ones.

Well done a long term issue this one. I have got by on the best from 4 cars!

I have uploaded to the Downloads section the 60mm Grommet .STL file which fits in my wing liner and the 50mm design sent by Steve (Jasper_40) which fits into the inspection holes in the metal front wing area.

My plastic arch liner didn't have a hole, or any outline
of one, to gain access to the crank nut which is useful when checking valve clearances etc.
I bored a 70mm hole in order to fit the socket I have, then realised that size grommet
is not a typical dimension!
I found a rubber one in China eventually, took a month to arrive, hey ho.
Not particularly good quality, rather thin, but did the job.

The uploaded designs can be scaled to suit any size hole where needed. The wing liners I have are for the late series cars rather than the thinner ones on the first facelift cars.
