Title: Rear inner void insulation? (B to C post void)
Post by: Ferrit on February 21, 2026, 11:49:18 AM
Do you recommend this?  I have the interior out to do some waxing (more/again) down to the sills and up under the rear window area (B to C post void), do you insulate this area, ie with recycled loft insulation like all the van boys do?

Mark,
Probably not. You don't want any chance of moisture retention. Rather let air flow.

I used Silent Coat (read fake dynamat stuff) throughout the panelwork that I could reach.
It makes a difference when you tap the outer skin and hear a dullness rather
than a 'ding'.
