As a commission, I printed up a lock button bezel to match the original and replace a tatty looking one with broken locating tabs.
This part could be re-finished to make the outward facing surfaces perfect and then sprayed.
Struggling for parts to design and print and hoping for suggestions
Cheers,

Hi Steve
Nice one, FYI the pre facelift version (brown dash) is different.

Thanks Peter,
I will have to get hold of an earlier one to see the differences.

Have been playing around with chrome wrapping this 3d printed part and if you sand the bezel to get a smooth surface you can stick the wrap on.
was originally curious about spraying on graphite to create a conductive surface which could then be electroplated but why bother when you can do this with wrap material.
I am quite pleased with the result of this first experiment and may invest in some better, more flexible chrome film.

That looks like an amazing result to me.
