Title: Brake calliper piston
Post by: Joe912/62 on August 06, 2026, 04:43:34 PM
Is there some trick to push the piston back in without having to remove it from the car?
I wanted to test it to see if it would push out but now I can’t get it back in to put it back in place. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If it's a rear one it screws back in, try to find something the fits snugly in the groove on the piston. If it's a front one then there's no trick, just needs pressure. If you've replace pads then watch the reservoir doesn't overflow if it's been topped up recently.
