Title: Electric window cables

Hello all, Ive just stripped down the elec window mechanism and need a pair of cables which I will order through the club. Im concerned that the gear that drives the cable is knackered as well. Am I right to worry or are the gears ok once a new cable has been fitted ? The gear is sealed in the housing as Im sure your all aware, so I have no way checking.  Thanks in advance Mark.

As  far as i can remember the gear is very tough. the manual ones are metal.
