Very much not! I have an original road test that gives the mph/rpm figures - I'll fish it out to see what it should be.

« Last post by WestonE on Today at 10:54:01 AM »Yes I had one of these and gave it away going back to trolley jacks and SGS high stands until I can get a proper hydraulic seizor lift sunk into my garage floor. They are bulky and heavy making moving them a pain (I am not a small person). Some in the range are better than others, but you will work a drill hard lifting the car. Darren Cooksey has a lot of experience with these. The tilt facility is useful for access that would be hard without it.

PS I tried the hydraulic ramps at one point as well. Boy did they leak which did not inspire confidence.

« Last post by lancialulu on Today at 10:28:11 AM »I've got a set of nice shiny plated front bush steel rings for you Mark. I just chucked them in with a load of stuff to be plated and then found out you don't need them with Mark's Polybush kit!
Now if only I can find your address again....

Guy, I have just fitted MW's poly bush to wishbone with spacers. Why do you say you dont need them?
Maybe I didnt buy MW polybushes after all.....

I managed to get some quality time in the garage today which is proving harder to find currently due to other home commitments.
I am continuing on with the door furniture, cleaning the U strips for the window glass to run in. For once I do not need to buy new as the old is in decent condition. I also started the long job of cleaning and polishing the stainless trim on car. For the Spider I bought a stainless polishing kit which has three wheels and blocks of paste. There is a coarse, medium and final polishing wheel. I have decided to just use the final polishing wheel on the trim I have as that will take long enough and accept any fine scratches which are left. I managed to clean and polish 5 pieces today which was satisfying and the results were well within being acceptable.

There's one that uses the original bushing's sleeve and spacer in the wishbone. This is a one part bush. If you check out the photos of this bush on the website it retains the spacer collar and outer sleeve. Is that what you have?
There's also kit which requires the removal of the sleeve and has two parts which is what I have on my car.
