I've just fitted a new rad to my IE and have a good local recore guy. Any one want a recored rad £300. ISH

It's got copper cheeks I believe. I think the plastic ones are risk to recore due to brittleness

I've not had it record as yet. So it looks shabby. The one he had done a week or so ago looks like new. Or do you just want to see if it's the correct fit?

How much did you pay, if you dont mind me asking?

I have had prices from c£450 nr London to c£250 up North.  My rad I think is holding (I pressure tested it), but its pretty rough looking

Here is mine.

No idea why I thought it had plastic cheeks but maybe senility combined with too many Lancias. I know my Delta has plastic......

I think mine is OK - pressure tested to 1 bar domestic water supply.

Now that it is brass I know my local rad co Sheldrake and Wells will re make for c£400

It's not the same as that. I will take a picture of the rough one...it cost £250 to get it recored.  That's in Shropshire
