HPE lowering springs availability
« on: April 07, 2010, 11:55:12 PM »
Ok...ok...who bought the last set then?!!!! ??? :)

I've just sold an old car and I now have a little bit of spending money so I think 'I know, I'll buy the lowering springs now to compliment my new alloys...' and there's none left! Anyone got a set stashed away that they don't need now? Or can anyone suggest an alternative fitment? Quick, before she spends it...

Thanks
Andrew.

Hi Andrew,
I can highly recommend the springs in question, they've been in mine for 3 years now, and had absolutely no problems with them. I think there be well worth waiting for, and i'm sure it won't be too long til Mark gets some more stock. Save up for a set of spax shocks and it'll transform the car ;)
For sometime this year, i'd like to go a bit lower and have some seriously uprated springs in mine, if the company will produce them at a sensible one-off price? Is this possible Mark? If so, I better get number crunching!
Marcus.

From standard spec. if i've got my numbers correct :-X, i'll give 40mm lowered and 50% uprated ago, if there affordable.
40mm lowered front and rear, fronts, 133.2 lb/in and rears 162 lb/in.
Have you got the figures for the lowering springs? Just to confirm my figures make any sense.
