Power steering rack, which is the high pressure inlet?
« on: January 28, 2023, 12:34:13 PM »
Hi All

I stripped out the rack from the Coupe I have, but failed to note the high pressure side as opposed to the return. They both use the same banjo bolt, so if anyone can enlighten me it would be appreciated…..

Current thinking before further confirmation and testing is that the banjo furthest away from where the steering column fits is the high pressure inlet. This photo from Chas shows the inlet pipe with the nut on it.

I will amend this if I am proved wrong…..
