Door trim attachment caps and Headlining bar caps
« on: February 18, 2026, 01:52:52 PM »
Hi

Attaching the door card requires a clip to fix to the door card and there is also a plastic cap insert into the door itself. The clips for the door card are often broken, but there are ones available to buy, but the plastic caps which fit into the door are nearly always damaged especially when you remove them. I have not seen any to buy (not looked too hard) so I tried printing them in TPU which have come out well. I also needed a similar cap to insulate the headlining rails from the roof where they mount. The cap is a similar design, just slightly larger. Here I have printed them in black unlike the original translucent, but they work the same.

I will upload the files to the download section for anyone who wants to get them printed.

Hi

That looks a lot smaller, the clip in the door card is approx 7/8mm where it goes into the cap and looks to be longer.
