Hi from Newbie Spyder owner

Hi All

I live near Newark on the border of Notts and Licolnshire.

Decided to buy a Spyder after needing a project and having had an itch for an old car for a few years now. I had a HPE as a company car for around 9 months in 1980 (at the tender age of 24) and had a Spyder for 1 day whilst it was being serviced. Great memories of both and the Spyder was always something I thought would be fun to run around in.

So, earlier this year one white non runner Spyder 1977 S2 pre F/L was purchased via the dreaded Ebay and then the fun started. It has been with the bodywork guys for a few weeks now and of course more bad news than you anticipated has surfaced. However it is not in too bad condition and hopefully will be back with me in another few weeks time all nice and shiny after the welding/sealing and a fresh paint job with the correct colour white.

Then the fun starts with the putting it back together and seeing if the engine actually goes.....

Feel free to publish some piccys in either the gallery or in the member cars section 
Hope the rebuild goes well, your get great satisfaction when she runs for the first time, I certainly did with my hpe.
There's quite a few guys on here with spyders so i'm sure there be able to tell you where bits fit, if need be.
