Steering damper bracket

Hi Alan,

Can you confirm that this part number is the same for all S1, S2 and S2/FL Betas that were fitted with the manual steering rack? 

RHD cars with TRW rack:  82310302    (Even though my parts book says the RHD manual rack is made by ZF !!)

Seems that LHD cars had two different makes of manual rack - so I would have to get confirmation from someone with both types that the damper bracket is interchangeable.

LHD cars with TRW rack:    82347363
LHD cars with ZF rack:       82347361

ser 1 82310302 trw rhd
ser 1 82313044 zf lhd this one indicates berlina and hpe only

ser 2 82347363 lhd  ( note part is shown as modified 02/1979)
ser 2 82310302 rhd
there is no distinction between rhd and lhd given but the zf rack is again shown as berlina/hpe only but no bracket is listed

I suspect my s2fl parts book is missing an update to correct the zf rack error!

apologies but i am still temporarily unable to access the microfiche I have s2fl and s2fl2 fiche so will check those as soon as I can

So both the damper and damper bracket are consistent through the evolution of the RHD range.

it seems so but as with everything about Betas the info is a bit confusing, will try to check the microfiche in case of any differing info for later models
