Plug for Bosch Z44 Distributor
« on: August 12, 2023, 07:39:20 AM »
Hello, does anyone know the part number or source for the sensor plug  (outlined in red on pic) for Bosch Z44 distributors?  Alternatively has anyone got a spare in decent condition that they would part with?  The insulation on the wires on mine is badly cracked and the plug seems to be one of those all in one moulded types that cant be taken apart.

Thanks
Peter

Can't help with a spare, I'm afraid, but that would be an ideal candidate for 3D printing I would have thought...?

Yes I think it might.  Would have to be made in two bits to hold terminals.  A bit beyond me I'm afraid - I will seek a spare.

How did you get on, and any thought on options would be handy?

I have broken my one, I think I can bodge it for the time being but need a replacement or I guess I buy a new/replacement upgraded one?

Fixed it as a temporary.  I will call H&H next week.

The plug into the dizzy splits apart no problem, took some time cleaning up the little 90d spade connectors and creating new leads.  All works again.  I will report back if I can get a new connector at some point
