I know, i think its the result of the oil pressure drop while cornering, maybe also some because the PO had a oil filter mounted without a drainback valve. Checked the pump and removed the strainer, no gasket material in there or debris. Took the pump apart and checked it, clearances are within the specs Haynes shows in their book. Journals looked OK, took 1 maincap off and it was pretty normal wear, no copper showing and no babbit coming of. I will check the oil pressure with a manual gauge while driving to make sure it is enough. Hope it will all turn out alright. Ideally would be to do a complete overhaul on the engine but that will be in the winter.
