Intake manifold 3 holes purpose?
« on: July 27, 2025, 06:42:11 PM »
On the intake manifold, on the side where it connects to the engine, there are the 4 large bore holes for mixture intake and 3 smaller oval holes, what is their purpose.

One seems to lead to nothing, one goes straight through the middle and one opens to a connector tube on the other side. I assume thay are connected to heating the carb but not sure. Are they water passages or exhaust? I cannot find a layout or schematic with purpose or connections. Any help is highly appreciated.

Those ports are part of the cooling system.
One of the auto choke hoses connects to this part of the system.
