Are these the correct bolts
« on: August 17, 2025, 04:12:32 PM »
So I’ve just taken the wheels off the car to start repairs and I am more than a little concerned that these are not the correct bolts for these wheels. They were very well recessed in the aperture for the bolts further than I feel they should be

Please advise and point me in the right direction for replacements of which I will need at least four to replace the lockers it had

Hi Steve

In my experience it tends to depend on the wheel. So long as the bolt is long enough, compared to the others you have then you should be ok unless the wheel holes are significantly sunk in.

As far as I know there was only one size of wheel bolt.

I have plenty of spare rims if you need any.....

the bolt heads were in my opinion half sunk into the alloy recess. I will have to get a look on someone else's to see if its similar etc
the bolts are tatty anyway so will look to replace if I can find some.

Hi Steve

I would say they look ok to me from your photo.
