They're for re-torquing SOHC cylinder heads, e.g. 128, X1/9 etc, specifically for the M12 bolt/stud engines that had 19mm heads. These were typically for cars before 1982, after which they moved on to M10 TTY bolts and Astadur gaskets which, theoretically, didn't need re-torquing. The extension pieces are offset so as to access the head bolts around the cam tower while still maintaining true torque leverage. You could take the cam tower off, but that would mean replacing the cam belt as well, potentially a different cam housing gasket and the need to re-shim too. I think all SOHC Delta's were the M10 TTY variety so these wouldn't apply. Let me know if ever sell as they're a bit of a collectors piece
