Air Conditioning
« on: October 18, 2025, 03:26:52 PM »
Has anyone got a pictorial layout of the system so I can sort out where on the bulkhead the pipes come through to the cabin?

Thanks
Guy

As far as I recall Guy, they came through the firewall either side of the brake servo. I think Jasper has an a/c car, maybe he can shed some light?

Thanks Nigel - can you recall if it was above or below the servo? I was looking at below the servo this morning but I'm a little concerned that this might be fouled by the steering arms unless it's a really tight 90 degree fitting. I probably need to buy a couple of unions and see! No holes drilled yet.
Cheers

Hi Guy,

These are the 2 aircon coolant pipes on mine (yellow). There is also the vacuum control pipe from the vacuum tank that goes through the bulkhead (red)

Is this what you are looking for ?

Just like the above photo Guy.
It's quite crowded in that area and getting
grommets seated correctly will be a challenge.

Thanks both! I like a challenge but a solution that doesn't involve cutting new holes in an existing bulkhead is a winner for me! I guess I also got fixated on the need to use a neat T7 Design bulkhead connector and that's not necessary now.

Cheers

I think I mentioned this on a different thread but it appears appropriate for here, apologies that this is a bit rough and ready and it's possible that some pages might be in the wrong order. There is a small amount in English that is probably duplicated in the Italian stuff.
