Booked. My wife Julia enjoyed the 50th so much she's coming on this one too! Probably in the 406 Coupe unless anyone would like to loan me a Beta for the weekend!

Booked via the website but with doing it on my phone in Thailand didn’t do it right. I have sent an email and hopefully they can correct my mistake.

Looks like I might be here for some time…..

Can't they get you home the long way round Neil? Stopover in Hawaii or San Francisco and bill the orange one?

Dubious…

Until I drove my Spyder all the way from Kent to Omicron near Norwich last Friday.

No breakdown cover needed.  The only moans, coughs, splutters or stops was me and my bladder.

The car will be even better when its work there is done.

This one’s on.

Mark,
The weekend usually commences with a Friday evening meal
at the hotel, car talk and social drinking prior and during.

But a day off is good for the soul.
See you there

Evening all,

I'm really looking forward to Betameeta 26. Due to the numbers coming, I have got a few things planned, but a few things still TBC.

So far it is looking like:

Friday: Arrive at the Peacock Hotel, Henton and check into rooms 3:30 - 4pm onwards then I propose we either walk (30mins), drive or catch a lift into Chinnor (where we will go to Bipuls Kitchen (my local Indian Restaurant) and have a curry and a few scoops in the Red Lion opposite and either walk or catch a lift back - for those that remember it's about the same distance as last years hotel into Shipley.

Saturday: Depart from the Peacock to go for a drive out for lunch and a place of interest which is to be confirmed. We'll then have dinner back at the Peacock - Andy Collins is joining us on Saturday and we have his Beta quiz which at my request is going to be set to feindishly hard - so start swatting!

Sunday: After breakfast there will be a leisurely drive out into the Cotswolds taking in some of the roads made famous by Harry's Garage and stopping for lunch at the Farmers Dog near Burford - Jeremy Clarkson's Pub. Due to the size of the group we won't be able to eat in the pub itself, but the "Farmers Puppy" is set within the grounds of the Farmers Dog and offers food and drinks are available at the pub bar.  There will be a Plan B formulated for if we get to the Farmers Dog and it is rammed.
