Is this broken?

Hi everyone,

This could be the first in a new series of Name That Beta Part, but you’ll probably know that this is the underside of a number plate lamp holder.

My question is, is it broken?



Try as I might, the bulb will not stay attached to it so I’ve either got to get creative or find a replacement.

Yes, there ought to be a tube there with a retaining spring that stops it popping off the bumper. The bulb sits in the tube with a rubber seal around the holder.

I may have one good one spare, is this a black or stainless surround on top?

I have found this one it is the earlier version with metal clips, same fitment in the bumper.
