The Lancia torch accessory
« on: April 30, 2026, 03:53:21 PM »
Hi all
I have recently bought one of the above just for a bit of historic completeness with the car.
I see there are various references to these over the years but no definitive way to refurbish them trust I could see unless I missed a post.

The torch I have got seems to be in reasonable condition body wise.
The head unscrew and I can get the bulb out.
The switch works and the body slides back and twists ok.
The battery looked as if it might have leaked inside and I am assuming is dead after all this time.

What I would like to do is get the battery out without damaging the switch mechanism and see if I can get a modern rechargeable battery to replace it.

So if anyone can advise how to get the battery out I would appreciate it please.
Also if anyone has sourced bulbs and batteries to fit, it would be good know where from as that would save a lot of tracking down if Indeed they are even out there.

Many thanks
C

Hi yes I saw this but doesn't really give me the information I am looking for but in hindsight I should have probably added to this post rather than starting a new one.

Ah bidding on Ebay. Sorry you lost out.
