Vibrating steer
« on: June 06, 2026, 09:43:16 AM »
The Beta performed well during the drive to and in Italy. I added around 4,000 km. There is one thing I am still struggling with. Around 110 to 120 km/h, the Beta vibrates quite a bit. I had the Beta aligned and the tires balanced. Unfortunately, no improvement. Any idea where else I should look?

Hi

My Spider would vibrate at high speed, but seemed ok at lower. I ended up changing the struts. Before that try swapping front wheels to back etc and see if you have a rouge tyre. I once had one on a car, no apparent problem, but just would not run correctly at speed and caused vibration.

Lastly check the state of the steering damper if you have manual rack.
