new member - 1979 beta Spyder restoration
« on: Today at 01:35:11 PM »
Hi everyone,

I've just joined the forum and thought I'd say hello. I'm restoring a 1979 Lancia Beta Spyder and I'm looking forward to learning from everyone here.

I'm currently trying to find a front bonnet. If anyone has one from a 1979 Beta Spyder, or knows if a 1979 Beta Coupé bonnet will fit and has one for sale, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks for having me!

Any Spider/Coupe/HPE bonnet will fit, the only variations are the very early Series one flat ones (which should be avoided as your engine is taller that 1400/1800) and the Volumex bonnet (which has a bulge on it that you won't need). Finding a rust free one won't be easy, try Mark Wastnidge and BetaBoyz Parts.
