Coupe wanted for prestigious TV programme
« on: April 15, 2026, 03:46:38 PM »
I need to source a  Lancia Beta Coupe to be a part of a car line-up in late June, either w/c 22nd or w/c 29th. This is an opportunity to feature a classic car from the Lancia Motor Club on a television show with an international following.

In terms of what it required from the owner and the car, it's very straightforward. They would need the car for one day, when it will sit in a 'Top Gear' style line-up as part of the classic car segment, where the presenter in question will deliver a piece to camera. No on-camera driving is likely to be required, but it would be good to gauge whether the owner would be comfortable doing this.

The owner would have to sign an NDA to understand more candidly about the show itself.

Email me if interested

I'm sure there are a few Coupe owners that would be willing to
participate.
One of the factors is location, which would help deciders decide.

I know I'd be willing, and provided the appropriate insurance was in place,
to allow a proper test drive.

Tim's just phoned me, and the dates would work for me.

Hopfully my Coupe will be good enough.

Cheers

Just be wary of letting anyone else drive it Tony.

I know of a Hawk owner who told a certain program that, under no circumstances were they to drive it due to brake issues, got it in writing and suffered considerable damage as a result of it being driven. Needless to say, when confronted with the signed do not drive it instructions, they had to pay a considerable settlement to have the car properly repaired.
