I am exceedingly jealous of your engine bay, it looks like new.  Overall your car looks fantastic.

In the picture 2nd from left of the engine bay, there is something mounted just to the left of the stabiliser bar, above the radiator.  There is a cable or pipe running to it. What is that part? We don't have that on European cars.

Do Hemmings have a printed version  in magazine format?

That is a mileage counter which was installed in USA vehicles for our wondrous federal emissions standards of the era. At certain mileage intervals an idiot light comes on to tell the driver that EGR service is due.
And yes Hemmings Sports and Exotic Car is available in print. My car was issue  #70 the June 2011 issue. You can buy back issues here.
