Hello all
The application is in for the 2013 NEC Car Show. Each year the show seems to get bigger and attendance numbers go up; the show is an ideal opportunity to showcase the Beta to a wider classic car fan base who don't go to the usual Italian car events.

I've applied for a 5 car stand again, and I'd really like to hear from anyone with a Sedan, Coupe, Spider or HPE that could feature at the show. Your car could be original, modified or restoration project. Each year I always like to feature a fresh line up of cars, but any cars last shown in 2010 or earlier are welcome back.

Without exception anyone who has shown their car at previous shows has always really enjoyed the experience of getting involved. So don't be modest and get in touch.

I look forward to hearing from you. See you in 2013!

Not sure if I really want to tempt fate, but put me down for the Spyder slot if you want, aiming to have it ready for the mid year bash, so assuming that should be ok for November!

If the coupe slot is filled- there is always next year.

Dear Beta people
Not long till the Classic Car Show now! I'm really pleased that we've got 3 fantastic and quite unique cars lined up that have never been featured before and are not well known even in Lancia circles...

So far we have confirmed a 1st Series Coupe, a very early 2nd Series HPE and a 2nd Series Sedan. I'm really grateful to the owners and they are going to do us proud.

Now we need a Spider. So if you've got a Spider and you can get to the NEC for the Thursday 14th November (show runs from the 15th till the 17th), please contact me on here or on bowjm@hotmail.com or on my mobile 07712 787703.

The Show is always a great way to highlight the Beta to a whole new wave of classic car enthusiasts who don't go to any of the Italian car events, and its a great way to show the classic motoring world just what a fantastic model line up the Beta was/is.

So don't be shy. I'm interested in any Spider modified or original, shown at the NEC before or not.

This year we will be in Hall 8

Myself and John Bower will be manning the stand for the 3 days, anyone else who might be able to spare a hour or 2 that would be great.

I will be with the dodgy lot next door on the Montecarlo Consortium Stand so should be able to stagger next door after the normal quiet nights out!
