What effect does a missing jet cover on a 45 DCOE have?
« on: July 12, 2013, 12:23:27 PM »
Since I was planning to take the coupe down to Hampshire this weekend I was checking the fluids and noticed that the jet cover is missing from one of the Webers. Must have vibrated off on the last thrash which is annoying. I will procure a replacement ASAP but will it be enough of a problem to stop me going in the coupe?

As it happens the MOT is next week. Will they care? Does anybody know please?

regards,

Doug

Maybe to late but your only issue really is dirt getting drawn in and stopping the car. The covers frequently fall off and are lock wired on race cars.
