hi on my 1979 sprider the distibutor had a advance vacuum pipe .but the engine i have got is a ie engine and the distibutor does not have one i,am going to but twin 40's on it is it best to change the distibutor with a vacuum pipe. or leave the one on the engine has it is .                                                     thanks steve.

Don't know who you are going to get the manifold from but Guy Croft only does the offset one - so you may as well fit the distributor in the block!

Just ignore the one on the end of the exhaust cam.
