Are 2.0 Monte and Beta cranks interchangeable?

I believe it might be possible but there are differences at the flywheel end and I don't know the details, they don't share the same part number and the monte has some sort of support bearing at the flywheel end  however basic specs are pretty much the same so probably best to ask GC

In a word Yes even if you find a late Beta crank with a reverse thread bolt instead of the huge nut. The VX Crank is best by concept due to larger oil drillings but in reality this is irrelevant with modern oil.
