Traveling the world with a Beta Coupe
« on: September 14, 2016, 08:08:24 PM »
Hi,

I am new! Two years a go I wanted to make a road trip to the Caucasus. And one of my wishes was to do this in a nice Italian car. After a long long search the Lancia Beta was the car for me. It happened in 2014 and it was a journey never to for get! Now I am restoring the car and I am in need of some improvements. For instance does any one has some experience with diverting the brake lines from outside to inside?

I have some great pictures of places they never heared of a Beta!

Hi Martijn,
Great to hear it. It is just mandatory to share your pictures with us ;)
Do you mean routing brake lines inside the chassis? If yes it should be possible, for example fuel lines at least in my injected model, are routed in such a way. So I do not see any reasons why it would not be possible with doing it with brake ones.
There was a Canadian guy at this forum who drove from Canada to Mexico in a beta coupe. Really great idea.
I would love to drive my HPE around Italy...
