Inlet valve needed.

Somewhat bizarrely after an engine rebuild no. 1 inlet valve bent during startup. Can’t see any other damage and don’t know what caused it. Has anyone got a spare? Head diameter is 42mm so it’s the later series. Thanks in advance,

Hi Del, I've used these guys for a few engine bits, and they list inlet valves. Might be worth a check..

Hi John, thanks so much for the info. I’ve left a message with them and hope they have the valve. Betaboyz sadly out of stock. Bloody annoying as the rebuild went so well until this issue. Ah well, cars!!!

I take it you cambelt was fitted correctly Derek? One tooth out can bend a valve.

I see it did work!! It wasn’t on the preview so I assumed it hadn’t worked!!
