I'm just back from the Dales having reccied a route for Saturday in the Coupe. The route I did, in spectacular weather, was a 100 mile loop which took me 4 hours with only a couple of brief stops ( the latter being to check for damage when I hit a pheasant at 40+ mph - the pheasant certainly came off worse....).

I'm aware that some of you have potentially long journeys before and after this, so hope that it's not too far. There are a few bail out opportunities onto A roads on the way, plus 2 excellent pubs that I'm researching further.

See you on Saturday.

Meet up instructions for Friday night; Meet at The Fox, 41 Briggate, Shipley, BD17 7BP. I'll be there from 7pm.

We have a table for 11 booked at The Rajput, 73 Otley Road, Shipley, BD18 2BJ at 830pm. As those of you who were here in 2020 know this is a traditional Bradford curry house with no alcohol served or allowed and the furnishings are, shall we say, 'Spartan', but the food is excellent and good value.

Parking is now available at Salts Mill on Saturday morning from 0930am.

See you tomorrow!
Neil
