Tuning tools?
« on: July 09, 2025, 10:59:09 AM »
Morning, BitD I had a selection of Gunson tools for basic tuning of my Beta and such.  What do you use today?

I had a strobe light and and thing to accurately see the rpm from the engine side and a remote starter.

Any thoughts and advice?

I still have a colourtune for idle mixture setting. Other than that it's just a multi-meter and a strobe timing light.

Mechanically the valve shim tool is handy to have as are the castellated sockets for the wheel bearing retaining rings  - which is a shame as I can't remember who I lent mine to!

Even GC liked colortunes. Definitely for cars of this era they are great
