My rear boot lid springs open when you unlock it but doesn't have enough spring power to go all the way up and stay up. I've tried all 3 slot adjustments for the spring but still not strong enough. My boot has a rubber lip spoiler which probably doesn't help with the extra weight.
Are there any gas shocks options that can be used instead of the springs that will make this work better? Any suggestions or if anyone has a model or part numbers to replace the springs would be appreciated.
