Here are a couple of parts I created using Tinkercad which for me is a nice and simple to use unlike more advanced programs such as Fusion.

First items are a key for helping the light adjusters on Siem lights and knob for the variable intermittent wiper relay. Note the legend for the knob will have white paint inserted to highlight it.

I bought a Qidi Q2 and a Sunlu 4 bay drier. I decided not to buy the multi box with the Q2 as for now not really looking to do multi colour.

Just got hold of a pair of very good splash guards for the inner front wheel arches but didnt get the rubber grommets for the timimg mark inspection holes.

I knocked up some bespoke grommets in "TPU" filament on a 3D printer which has a very flexible quality, pretty similar to rubber. The attached pic demonstrates the uses of this material.

I have also done several large bungs or gromets for the underbody & subframe that always seem to go missing.

If anyone is having difficulty in sourcing plastic parts (rubber or rigid) then chime in here as there is a chance that someone has already designed it for 3D printing. If not then we printing nerds are always up for a challenge.

3D printed parts are not just for replacing broken parts......can be bespoke items also.

I repaired and re-covered the seat backs on my coupe and the Vinyl material was just not quite stretchy enough to deal with the opening for the operating lever hole. I designed and printed a bezel for this which was a perfect fit and just clicks into place.

Anything else anyone needs ?

There are bendy plastic end caps fitted to aluminium slotted extrusions which enable the door cards to hang on the doors which tend to go missing and I would need interested inn those if anyone decides to make them.
The caps are different front and back ends of the extrusion.
I have seen them in Italy but really expensive including the cost of getting to the UK
I can't post a pic as they are missing on my cards. They just push on I believe.

I printed them and fitted them to the door cards on my coupe.......However, am in Australia and the cost of postage would be just ridiculous but if you know anyone who has a 3D printer then I can send them the STL model file and they can print them for you.

Thank you. Yes this looks like one of them. I think the other end is longer (the front I think) and slopes down for aesthetics.

Yep, remarkably, there is one of the front end caps on my door card......amazed as so much was missing.

I am sure I can knock some up but regret I am not going to risk damaging mine or the door card by trying to remove it to copy....so it would be an untested part..... but really lnot that difficult.

Again, you need to find someone with a 3D printer to print the models that I can send otherwise I could print and send but min postage from Aus is quite prohibitive. I also note that this is a rubber part so if you find someone to print this then hopefully they will have a type of plastic called TPU which is a highly flexible plastic that performs like rubber. To be fair, these parts would be just as good printed in hard plastic....your choice.

Good point will be an interesting one to do, though I only have the early profile and I think the later one is different?

Yes  - there are at least 2 profiles. I think I've got some later ones somewhere.

Steve (deks) lives locally and has the facelift style ones safely tucked away and I can relieve the early ones off my Spider so should be able to compare and hopefully make a reasonable job of recreating in CAD.
