Coupe / HPE center section

Hi,

Is the HPE center section the same length as the Coupe or is it longer?

the wheelbase is longer on a hpe so i'd guess it's longer

part numbers are (for 2 litre S2FL2) centre pipe coupe 82376919 hpe 82376917 coupe vx 82399380  hpe vx 82394859

whilst I'm at it

rear box coupe 82377063 hpe 82369085 coupe vx 82399385 hpe vx 82402175

AFAIK the vx system has a bigger bore and for some reason  the original rear box tail pipes on vx coupe (not sure about HPE) models appear to have kinked towards the kerb at least they are like that on all the contemporary sales literature whereas injection cars seemed to have straight rear pipes those crazy Italians again
