OK so maybe it's only on 3 1/2 cylinders (not too surprising given the amount of oil down the bores) but once I'd pulled some fresh petrol through it started first turn of the key.
Really chuffed with that - I was sure I'd have got some of the ignition wiring arse about face. I guess I'd better put the interior back and see about an MOT now.
