Wiring Harness and relay
« on: September 07, 2025, 07:03:51 AM »
Cleaning up a Lancia Beta Coupe 2000 - series 3.
There seems to be a large wiring harness under the glovebox which is not used?
Is this normal and share same harness used for other Lancia models or can it be deleted?
Also I wanted to know what the white relay is used for that just above the drivers side speaker in the footwell.(see attached photos). Thank you!

It doesn't look original at all but if you're going to remove it you need to trace each wire from end to end. That may give you a clue as to what the installation is supposed to do?

I'd guess the white relay is a replacement flasher relay. IIRC the OE one lives around there. The bundle under the glovebox - no idea - I've never seen that.
