Sill Cover End Protectors
« on: February 05, 2026, 02:23:44 PM »
Hi

Steve ((Jasper_40) has kindly sent his design for the end protectors for the stainless sill covers. I modified them a little to complete the small end cap as I learnt he designed it from photos, not an having an original which was pretty impressive. Originally Steve suggested to use PETG, but the originals are both flexible and will not damage the paintwork, so I tried TPU which worked out really well and is very similar to the original material used. I found that the originals have all shrunk over time and hence having a properly fitting pair quite attractive....

I have uploaded the .STL file to the downloads section, remember you need a mirror image to complete the pair....

Hi

They were originally on the covers from the factory otherwise you had a metal edge which could damage the paintwork.
